We adopted our first cat, a calico, in Oct. of 1980. Our sweet little Callie lived to be 20 years old. She was such a beautiful, mild-mannered cat. We then adopted Molly who passed away at the age of 17 in October of 2017. We adopted Abigail in September of 2007.
Just 2 months after Molly passed away, 10 year old Abigail accidentally got outside and ran away. Since we were grieving two pets, we decided to wait a while before getting a new kitten. During the summer of 2018 we decided we would look for another calico. I spent many hours browsing the “pet finder” sites online. I had never heard of The Cat Network, but TWO sweet little calico faces got my attention on their website. Ruffles and Rainbow were calico sisters! I had never heard of two calicoes in the same litter. So, in September of 2018, we adopted Ruffles and Rainbow. We thought of changing their names, but they just seemed to fit their personalities. The Cat Network folks were so helpful as we were arranging the adoption. It was a wonderful experience. We would happily recommend choosing The Cat Network if looking to adopt!
